Overview

Jolof is a mobile app revolutionizing international finance. It empowers users to buy and sell foreign currency through peer-to-peer exchanges, facilitating easy transfers of both foreign and local currency. Additionally, it simplifies the process of paying international tuition fees for students by connecting them directly with their schools.

Problem Statement

Inaccessible Currency Exchange Options: Users face difficulties accessing foreign currency through traditional Bureau de Change services, leading to dissatisfaction and inconvenience.

International Payment Process: Students face difficulties when paying international tuition fees. How can we streamline the tuition payment process and improve the connection with educational institutions?

Difficulty in Sending Foreign Currency Abroad: Users encounter obstacles when trying to send foreign currency to someone abroad, resulting in delays and complications in international transactions.

I was responsible for designing a user-friendly mobile app and web app that helps users exchange currency, an admin dashboard to manage the app, a website landing page to attract users, and a view for institutions to monitor student payments from abroad. Wireframe

In response to user feedback, I went ahead to design high-fidelity wireframes that translate their needs into a visual interface. These wireframes serve as the blueprint for our design, ensuring a user-friendly and efficient user experience.

High Fidelity

Building on wireframes and user input, I designed high-fidelity screens that provided a polished, visually engaging user interface. Additionally, I created mockups and explanatory videos using After Effects to demonstrate the interactive elements and user flow, enhancing the clarity of the design implementation.
